The course of Architecture and Urbanism is pioneer in the internationalization of the University. It has been already established several bilateral exchange programmes with diverse institutions and architecture courses, particularly in countries like Brazil, Spain, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Czech Republic and Turkey.
There is an “International Relations Office” that is responsible for informing students, teachers and staff about available international opportunities (european programmes, bilateral agreements, funding, etc.) as well as for the selection of students and teachers applying for bilateral exchange programmes. “International Relations Office” also facilitates the integration of students and teachers received through cooperation programmes and give assistance to incoming students concerning accommodation, language courses, health services, visa and registration procedures at UFP.
